1. Inspection & Assessment

Before any significant work begins, a thorough physical and visual inspection is necessary. This involves measuring paint depth, identifying areas of clear coat failure, noting deep scratches, and understanding the vehicle's previous repair history. Recommendations vary after this inspection.

2. Decontamination

Following a standard safe wash, bonded contaminants must be addressed. Iron fallout from brakes is chemically dissolved, tar spots are targeted with specific solvents, and remaining embedded particles are lifted using a detailing clay bar. This leaves the paint surface entirely bare and smooth.

Technical Note: Paint Correction

Machine polishing (correction) involves removing microscopic layers of clear coat to level out swirl marks and scratches. It is a subtractive process.

We never promise a "perfect finish". The limits of correction are dictated by the thickness and integrity of the existing clear coat. Older vehicles or those with thin paint require careful, conservative approaches.

Pre-Wash & Contact Wash

Removing loose surface dirt safely.

Chemical & Physical Decontamination

Removing bonded iron, tar, and organic fallout.

Polishing Considerations

If viable, enhancing gloss and reducing the appearance of defects through machine polishing. Dependent on paint assessment.
